Discipline is a term used by vampires to describe their supernatural powers.

The origin of the vampiric powers modernly known as Disciplines is unknown, however, but many believe they are gifts from Caine or Lilith, and a few Antediluvians are thought to have invented unique Disciplines that have been passed down through their childer. Others believe them to be inborn powers inherent to the undead body.

Aside from their inherent immortal condition, the ability to use vitae to regenerate wounds through Blood Heal, and improve their overall physical abilities through Blood Power, proficiency in a Discipline gives the vampire additional supernatural abilities of great strategic value.

While all Clans start with an array of Clan Disciplines, many Vampires eventually seek to broaden their abilities by being Taught New Disciplines.

Non-Clan Exclusive Disciplines can be Taught to one another, requiring 5 dots in the Discipline by the mentor and costing both Vampires 10 Experience.

Dominate Mind control practiced through the piercing gaze.
Fortitude Unearthly toughness, even to the point of resisting fire and sunlight.
Melpominee Daughters of Cacophony use this to manipulate the voice.
Mythecaria A Kiasyd's fae magic.
Necromancy the supernatural power to summon and control the dead.
Obfuscate The ability to remain obscure and unseen, even in crowds.
Obtenebration Unearthly control over shadows.
Potence The Discipline of physical vigor and strength.
Presence The ability to attract, sway, and control crowds.
Protean Shapechanging, from growing claws to a powerful lupine warform.
Quietus The art of assassination.
Serpentis The Discipline of reptilian powers.
Temporis True Brujah time manipulation.
Thaumaturgy The study and practice of blood sorcery.
Valeren Salubri work of the soul.
Vicissitude The art of flesh-shaping.
Viscteraka Magics working with Gargoyle's affinity towards stone and earth.
