Heir to the Voivodate

Voivode is the title given to an official leader of Old Clan Tzimisce. Originally, the title denoted any Tzimisce with a claim of domain, with all Voivodes nominally answering to the Voivode among Voivodes. Presently in San Francisco in an Manor on the outskirts of town lies a fortress where the loyal of Old Clan Tzimisce gather. Here, the current Voivode rests upon the throne until the Voivode-in-Waiting, kept secure in its sarcophagus in the manor's lower levels, will one day return to guide the Clan.

Each Voivode had to present himself according to the ancestral tenets of the Clan. The domains of the individual Voivodes were put together in a loose confederation called the Voivodate.
