General Rules
1. This is an English-speaking server. Please use English in-game, and on the Discord.
2. Don't try to upset or fight with your fellow server members. This includes bigotry and all forms of hate speech.
Admins reserve the right to shut conversations down if they get too heated.
3. Information about the current round should not be shared OOC, and information gained OOC should not be used IC.
You shouldn't talk about the current round on the Discord, or use information gained while observing to your character's benefit.
4. The game and Discord server are both 18+, but sexually explicit is strictly not allowed.
ERP is not allowed on this server in any form.
Non-sexual adult themes like drugs, abuse, etc. are allowed. Romance and references to sexual activity are allowed, but should never border on being outright sexually explicit.
Ingame Rules
1. Above all else, you should be playing a believable character and valuing roleplay above gameplay mechanics.
If you play an important role like the Prince, you should use your power in a way that doesn't indicate you would have been executed far before gaining it.
If you don't have the knowledge necessary to play an important role properly, you should hang back and learn more before trying it.
2. Don't metagame. Only act on information that your character would reasonably have IC.
Rushing to loot Primogen hideouts or collect vitae bags roundstart is not acceptable.
Your character does not have perfect knowledge of every piece of metaphysics and lore of the World of Darkness.
Abusing gameplay mechanics in a way that would give you information your character shouldn't have is counted under this rule.
3. Don't needlessly ruin other people's experiences.
If you want to kill someone, you should have a valid roleplay justification for it, and there should have been a reasonable amount of escalation beforehand.
You shouldn't be breaking into important locations and stealing all of someone's gear without a very good justification for it.
This is a persistent server, and two characters can keep grudges against one another. This shouldn't mean that you're seeking someone out to kill them every round.
4. If you find a bug, you should report it and not try to use it to your own advantage.
Exploiting an unreported bug is liable to get you banned without prior warning.
No, you cannot argue technicalities. Act according to the spirit of the rules. The addendums after every rule are clarifications and not every way the rule can possibly be violated. The admins have the final say on exactly how a rule is interpreted and enforced.
